ESER OLCAY AVUNDUK
Eser holds an MSc. Degree from Yıldız Tech. Uni. of Istanbul with a thesis on the pelletizing of iron ore and
an executive MBA from Harvard Business School. Business experience includes various managerial
positions in Hong Kong, New York, Istanbul, and Lucerne. He serves as the company's current CEO and Chairman.
NAGiHAN SENGÜL KARPUZ
Nagihan led the largest IPO transaction in Turkey in the last ten years, Sok Marketler, and completed numerous M&A transactions. She completed more than 80 mergers and spin-off transactions on a global scale. She served as Tax Auditor at Arthur Andersen, Tax Senior Manager at Ernst&Young and Group Tax Director, General Manager of Financial Affairs, and Vice President of Financial Affairs at Yildiz Holding. Nagihan SENGÜL KARPUZ graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Economics, and she holds an MBA degree from Yeditepe University Faculty of Business Administration.She has the title of CPA, and she is a volunteer mentor.
HANSPETER RELLSTAB
A graduate of Zurich Business School, Hanspeter currently serves as Group CFO and Member of the Board.
Hanspeter has over 25 years experience in the banking and commodity finance industry. He started his career at
Citibank and subsequently moved to the U.S. as Regional Head for North & Latin America for Credit Suisse.
He later assumed senior management positions in various jurisdictions for ABN AMRO and Fortis Bank with a focus
on commodity markets, and most recently as Member of the Executive Board of the Royal Bank of Scotland (Switzerland) with responsibility for large Swiss trading companies. Hanspeter joined ACEMAR in 2017 to help building up the new Swiss headquarters in Luzern. He is registered with the Swiss Financial Markets supervisory body (FINMA) and has served on several industry associations as Board Member.
ÖZLEM BALIKÇI
Graduating from Notre Dame Sion High School, Ozlem pursued further studies at Galatasaray University in Business Administration and Management. She is fluent in French, English and Turkish. She has over 20 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and Reporting area. Worked for Bayraktar Holding for more than 5 years, effectively contributed to the company by generating strategic business plans and feasibility reports, reducing G&A expenses by regular controls, and developing group policies and procedures. Ozlem has also worked for TTNET and Digiturk, two of the best-known business organizations in their area. She joined Acemar in 2021 to manage the company's accounting and finance operations, as well as strengthen financial reporting systems.
MARİA SALVATİERRA
María is a businesswoman in the steel sector with more than thirty years of experience, she has been one of the first to import scrap metal to Ecuador and has marketed scrap in several Latin American countries, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Industries of Guayaquil Ecuador and an editorialist for the most important newspaper in Ecuador, El Universo. She has trained at the Advanced Business Management Program at the University of Navarra in Spain and the IDE Business School in Ecuador and completed the Women's Training Program for Senior Management and Corporate Governance.
BORA SARNAV
Graduate of Economic and International Relations, Bora has been actively working on the sales and marketting side of the international steel commodity trading sector since 1997. Having worked both on the producers' and the traders' side of the business, he has established and ran a couple of steel trading companies in Turkey and abroad together with partners/agencies such as TATA INC. and Intergate.
